Fly Plaid

In the original highland kilt, the fly plaid was simply the end of a long piece of tartan worn over the shoulder. This modern interpretation is no less impressive.

Worn over the shoulder and held in place by the General Grand Chapter Crest Badge, the fly plaid is an impressive accessory. The fly plaid should be worn for fully formal events like weddings, clan gatherings and graduations. This length of fabric should be the same tartan as the matching kilt to create an authentic highland look.
